90-Day / 3,000-Mile Limited Warranty
Every qualifying motorcycle purchased from Owens Bootleg Cycle Inc includes a limited warranty lasting 90 days or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage begins once the motorcycle is registered in the buyer’s name.
This coverage is intended to provide added confidence by helping address unexpected mechanical or electrical issues that may arise during normal street riding after your purchase.
Coverage Overview
During the warranty period, coverage applies to failures of key mechanical and electrical components that impact the normal function of the motorcycle.
Engine & Drivetrain
Covered components include internal engine parts, lubrication-related components, transmission assemblies, and primary drivetrain elements when failures occur under normal operating conditions.
Clutch & Power Delivery
Clutch system components are included when failure is not caused by abuse, improper use, or riding conditions outside standard street operation.
Cooling & Fuel Systems
Cooling system parts and fuel delivery components essential to proper engine operation are covered during the warranty period.
Electrical & Electronic Systems
Coverage includes engine management components, required sensors, charging system elements, and electrical components related to starting and normal riding functionality.
Repairs & Service Location
Warranty repairs are completed at a mutually approved repair facility. The motorcycle does not need to be returned to our dealership for service.
When necessary, we work directly with the repair facility to review the concern, approve repairs, and help ensure the process moves forward efficiently.
Authorization Process
- Issues should be reported as soon as they are noticed
- Repairs must be authorized prior to work being performed (except emergencies)
- Diagnosis and repairs must be completed by qualified repair facilities
This process helps ensure repairs are documented properly and completed in a timely manner.
Exclusions
The warranty does not include:
- Routine maintenance or scheduled service items
- Wear-and-tear items such as tires, brakes, belts, chains, fluids, and filters
- Cosmetic or appearance-related concerns
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, overheating, or improper maintenance
- Track riding, racing, or competition use
- Aftermarket modifications, tuning, or ECU adjustments
- Issues related to contaminated fuel, incorrect fluids, or improper storage
These exclusions are standard for pre-owned motorcycle warranty coverage.

Warranty coverage applies to motorcycles operated under normal street use and maintained according to recommended service guidelines.
